I like the time you took to texture the image to make it seem more painted than a manipulation. Something I have been working on lately and I tell you now, it is not easy. It's easy to apply a filter to the image and say "done" it is not easy to make it look like it is part of the image. Well done.
I could see this image on a book cover.
The only thing that distracts me a tad are the very prominent finger nails on the bottom right. But they did not affect me until my third or fourth viewing. My eye went straight the face first, then the rose then the back. So I think the effect works. If you left the nails this way on purpose I would be curious to know why. They are not wrong to me just an odd focus for this piece.
