I finally felt some motivation to make another piece. I really love mythology and all the neat stories. This is a vision a seer is having of a kingdom being lost at sea. She does not like what she sees. At least it is my interpretation of it.
**I updated the boats in my pictures as the ones I was using had a license I didn't want to use.
I really like this, the cold colour pallet is very effective, the energy of the seas is conveyed well. there's one minor issue with the transition of the image from the lower half by the divide of the mountains, peaks of the toweres, and her face. It puts a clear divide to her face and hinders the flow a little of the image....I think one of two ways would fix this. The values of the ice mountains and left hand tower top, trail off a little at the peaks so the divide is semi muted, and possibly reducing the size of her head and adding in some atmospheric effects of the sky would complement this, adding to the illusion of her peering (or not as she doesn't want to see) godlike into a vision. the other way would be to put a very strong sharp bright rim light to the mountains and really accentuate that divide. this second one i think lacks the subtlty you're going for though. I'd also move the edge of the mountain so it doesn't line up with the edge of her right hand...other than that this is an excellent image
